The only downside for the rooms is no microwave or fridge. Everything is clean and set nicely. Doesn't smell like most other places in the same price range. The service is great. Staff are friendly and kind. Location I say is a 4 because it's right off the interstate with gas stations very close by plus there's a Wendy's and McDonald's within walking distance. There's a few bars and places to eat not all that far away. Honestly a hidden jem if you're just in need of a place to sleep for a decent price.
We often stay here when visiting our college student who is at ONU. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are kind, location is quiet and convenient. I stayed by myself this time and still felt safe as a solo female traveler.
Room was as expected.. Vending machine inside lobby was very reasonable priced.. no the pool was closed but I was into swimming anyways. Quiet and clean.. No junkies hanging out in the parking lot.. and the man behind the counter was super nice. Other workers I have no idea. He was the only one I delt with. He was so sweet. Trying to joke with me about my accent.. I'd def stay again..
It’s obvious from the outside and lobby that this isn’t the Ritz. That being said, for the money it’s a great place to stay. The management is very friendly and responsive. My room was clean, cozy, and everything was in perfect working order. If I had any complaint, the free breakfast left something to be desired, and the parking lot is a bit of a pain to get into. We’ve had a great stay and I will absolutely be using this location for future trips.
We had a very pleasant stay. We will stay there again the next time we visit Manteno, Illinois. The hotel was very clean n the staff was friendly and accommodating. They served a Continental breakfast with really good coffee. The location is right off I-57 which is very convenient when traveling.
Easily accessible from interstate. The rooms on back side of building are facing I57, but I didn't notice the sound. Nice room for over night. Cable had Food Network. I did not notice the free WiFi network, but didn't bother me as I just tethered to my phone. Good enough breakfast, including make your own waffles.
Not super far from Chicago. Exactly what we wanted, decent place to stay and rest before heading into the city. Simple and suited our needs perfectly. Carpet in halls a little older, but rooms are VERY clean. This shower is the cleanest hotel shower that I've seen in ages in a hotel. Definitely willing to stay here again. Great value for the price
Owner was friendly, always smiling. Room was clean and sheets were clean and neat. Got the first floor so we didn't have to take the stairs. Air conditioner worked well. TV, fridge and microwave were clean and worked. Wish the pool was open later than 9 pm on the weekend.
